TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In this Terms and Conditions policy, The Wellbeing Nutritionist, Sarah Weaver, and Scribbles of Sanity, Emily Bewley are also referred to as “Coaches,” “Company,” “I,” “me,” “we,” or “us”,“facilitator” or “facilitators”. The terms “You” and “Your” refer to the user, client, attendee, or customer engaging with the services or content provided by us. Each of the facilitators works independently, and you can find our individual terms and conditions of services on our individual websites; www.thewellbeingnutritionist.com and www.scribblesofsanity.com.
1. Our Services
The services provided by The Wellbeing Nutritionist (Sarah Weaver), and Scribbles of Sanity, (Emily Bewley) are not a substitute for medical attention, diagnosis, therapy, counselling, or treatment. Sarah Weaver is a Holistic Therapist, Health Coach, Reiki Master Teacher, NLP Practitioner and Nutritionist, and does not provide psychotherapy or counselling services. Emily Bewley is a Mindset Coach and Writer, and does not provide psychotherapy or counselling services.
1a. Personal Responsibility
You are responsible for your own well-being during and after receiving any services from us, including all decisions and actions you choose to take, inclusive of all outcomes. Participation in any service provided does not guarantee specific results or outcomes. Results and outcomes from any of our services may vary between individuals, and therefore, no specific result can be guaranteed.
2. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We treat all personal information as private and confidential, in full accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal information is used exclusively by us and will not be shared with any third party unless legally required to do so. 3. Booking
Appointments for all services offered are subject to availability and must be scheduled either by contacting us directly or through our online booking system. Please note that we are not responsible for any errors or issues that may arise with bookings made on your behalf, this includes financial or personal errors.
4. Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place at retreats, events, or training sessions. Full payment is due one week prior to the event and is non-refundable once received, unless otherwise stated.
If full payment is not received by the specified deadline, your place may be released and readvertised. In this case, we cannot guarantee that your space will remain available.
4a. Refusal or Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate treatment or services in certain circumstances, including: Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, withholding relevant information, inappropriate or sexual behaviour, posing a risk to the facilitators or others. We may also refuse services if your medical or other conditions affect health, safety, or well-being.
4b. Unexpected Circumstances
In the event that the facillitators are unable to provide a service due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel events at short notice. A refund will be issued if rescheduling is not possible.
5. Confidentiality
All information shared with us is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed without your explicit consent. However, certain exceptions apply: we are legally obligated to report any harm to yourself or others, or if there is suspicion of abuse or illegal activity.
This commitment to confidentiality applies to both the facilitators and participants, ensuring that all discussions remain private, except in the circumstances outlined above.
5a. Group Setting Confidentiality
Group events involve participation by multiple individuals, and confidentiality within the group is based on mutual trust and respect. While we commit to maintain confidentiality as described herein, we cannot guarantee the behavior or confidentiality of other participants.
6. Payments
We accept payment via cash, BACS, and third-party payment services, including but not limited to Stripe, Bookwhen, and Flodesk. We do not accept responsibility for payments made in error by you or for any issues arising from the use of third-party payment providers.
7. Car Parking
Free car parking is usually available; however, vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. We are not responsible for any charges, damage, loss, or fines incurred while attending our events.
8. Use of Technology
The use of electronic communications, including email, text, telephone, video conferencing, and other digital technologies, may not be completely secure. By using these methods to communicate with us or make payments, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved. We are not responsible for technical or security issues arising from the use of electronic communications
9. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, resources, presentations, website content, social media posts, and session recordings are the intellectual property of the facilitators and are provided solely for the personal use of participants. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share any of these materials, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of the facilitators.
10. Photography, Videography, and Session Recording
At in-person events, photography and filming may take place for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending these events, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and grant the facilitators the right to use such images or videos for promotional purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements to respect your preferences.
